Salvation in Scriptures?

"You search the Scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.
But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life."
     John 5:39-40

It's amazingly easy to lose our focus of Jesus, our living Lord, in favor of Jesus, the man in our bibles. While I do believe these verses were initially directed towards the Jews that did not recognize Jesus as the messiah, they seem equally applicable today. Our salvation doesn't come from the scriptures. Jesus wants us to come to Him. Our bibles are simply the means to the end - not the end itself.

  2. Hello Sarah,

No doubt you learned that we (Jews) do not recognize "Jesus" as the Massiah, ok.

Unfortunately, the story that Christians have learned over the last two thousand years does not reflect the true facts of the time. I feel sorry for you. We have one Holy Love, one L-rd, only one G-d, YHWH.

Our Messiah will be a normal man, he will be a wise man, but not divine powers (Jesus no had divine power, it's just a myth). You need read what it is written in the Old Testament, The Torah, about the Messiah.

I not lament you be a Christian. Your G-d - Our G-d. I just told to you that many untruths are told and blame us even today. Jews did not kill Jesus (Yeshuah), it was the Romans who killed him and romans said upon lies our fault, making associations and saying; Juda (Yehuda) betrayed him! Sure was not true because Yehuda loved Yeshua. Yeshua was a threat to the Roman empire at the time, a revolutionary, who called our laws Torah's and encouraged our people against them. The crucifixion was the punishment for those who dared defy the Roman Empire.

Today we know that the Second Testament were changed by the Roman Curia not to tell the true face of history. Yeshua was only a good Rabbi, so much that he did not save the world from evil, unlike, the Romans used his name in vain for committing evil for centuries and centuries.

    Peace,
